Studio 403 is the penthouse office suite at Rhubarb, a new office building in the heart of Birmingham’s creative quarter — opposite the Custard Factory. We have dedicated desk space available for a simple, all-in monthly licence fee of either £129 or £159 + VAT, depending on the size of desk, or desks, you take.

We would need you to commit to an initial six months, with a three-month notice period thereafter. The fee is fully inclusive of business rate, service charge, ultra-high-speed broadband (we have two connections in case one goes down), water, electricity and cleaning. It even includes tea and coffee.

We're also well situated for cafés and bars, and the office is safe and secure with private access 24/7.

Why opt for co-working space?

Every successful business eventually needs a place of its own. But committing to renting office space while your firm is growing can be a costly mistake. According to new research, small businesses are increasingly looking for more flexible options, and demand for co-working space like Studio 403 are set to soar.

In a survey by QualitySolicitors, 71% of decision makers at 250 small businesses across the UK said looking for co-working space will be a priority in the near future. 42% rated having a flexible and adaptable space where they can grow as even more important than location.

Additionally, 18% said it was important to be able to interact and collaborate on ideas with other businesses in their premises, with 39% looking for a workspace with networking opportunities. 54% of SMEs wanted flexible, short term licence or letting agreements similar to those provided by Studio 403.

Michael Sandys, commercial property conveyancing expert at QualitySolicitors, said: “It’s clear from this research that the traditional, one size-fits-all approach to commercial property conveyancing is no longer valid.

“SMEs now want a different kind of workspace, which offers flexible space and networking opportunities to boost efficiencies and maximise the space. We’re seeing more and more businesses demanding shorter, less restrictive leases to give them the freedom to move around if they need to.”

Available for both Studio403 residents and members of the public, our private meeting room provides a both functional and comfortable space, flexible to suit your meeting requirements.

Facilities include a private kitchen and bathroom, as well as a large boardroom-style table, chairs, sofas and AV equipment.
